The Night Of The Arts in Helsinki is an evening of festivities held annually by the city, to celebrate culture and the creative artists living here. It’s part of the Helsinki Festival which a month long programme of acts and performances.

Every café, bar, courtyard and gallery is open to the public for their listening or visual pleasure. I visited many places and performances but some caught my eye. Especially a gypsy Ramandan dance held in the courtyard of the infamous Engel Café.

The city is full of people enjoying in the culmination of the evening, a performance held in Senate Square. This year there was incredible aerial choreography by La Fura dels Baus and their Human Net.
